The Darley Memorial Village Hall Lastingham
We had another successful Pop up Café week-end, despite the unsettled weather we had a steady flow of customers over the 3 days.
Thank you to everyone who came and helped with setting up, organising the rota, putting signs out, manning the hall, baking cakes and generally supporting us over the week end. We made an excess of £517.30 after expenses, which was a great result.
The only casualty was the Village Hall gazebo which did not survive the gusty winds of Saturday night and was found collapsed in a heap on top of the chairs and tables on Sunday morning!
We hope to repeat the Pop up Café on the August Bank Holiday, in the meantime don’t forget our weekly Keep Fit on Wednesdays at 5.30pm and watch the notice board for any future events.
Let them eat cake…..
