In memory of Strick, everyone pitched-in to support events at the Blacksmith’s Arms. The disco and coffee morning, and all the associated prize draws and raffles, raised a huge amount of money - almost £2,500! This will be divided between MacMillan Cancer, York Cancer Research and St. Leonard’s Hospice.
Huge thanks to Pete & Hils at the Blacksmith’s, but also to everyone who rallied round, baked cakes, boogied, drank and ate their way to this tremendous total.
